Balance
The salad I had for lunch achieved taste perfection. I included something representing each of the five tastes.
Sour: lemon juice and rice vinegar in salad dressing (also included in the dressing: honey, salt, pepper, and olive oil)
Bitter: arugula leaves
Sweet: watermelon
Salty: queso blanco (cheese of the month for June, by the way)
Umami: toasted almonds
